Requirements
Role Overview:
As an Empanelled Advocate, you will be part of a growing legal ecosystem where you will receive:
- Formal Empanelment through an Empanelment Letter
- Access to the Being Vakil Digital Platform to view, accept, and manage legal assignments
- Visibility and Credibility among businesses, individuals, and institutions across India
- A chance to work on remote consultations, local court matters, title verification, document vetting, and more, based on your expertise and jurisdiction
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle client matters referred via the Being Vakil platform based on area of practice and location
- Provide legal opinions, draft legal notices, contracts, affidavits, and other documents
- Represent clients in local courts, tribunals, or government offices where required
- Conduct legal due diligence, title verification, or document execution as assigned
- Ensure timely updates and closure of assigned matters via the Platform
- Uphold ethical legal practice and client confidentiality at all times
- Respond to platform and coordination team communications professionally and punctually
Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrolled Advocate with any State Bar Council in India (Bar Council ID mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of active legal practice (exceptions may be made based on quality and domain knowledge)
- Excellent legal drafting, interpretation, and client -handling skills
- Basic tech literacy (ability to use WhatsApp, email, Google Meet, and online portals)
- Domain expertise in Civil, Criminal, Consumer, Real Estate, MSME, Employment, or Commercial Law preferred
- Prior experience in document vetting, title search, or litigation support is an added advantage
