About the Role
We are looking for a warm, caring and responsible Day Care Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and engaging setting for young children beyond regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety, well-being and comfort of children in the day care.
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate constructive activities such as art and craft, storytelling, puzzles, music and movement, building blocks, pretend play, gardening and simple science activities.
Keep children engaged through meaningful play and creative experiences.
Support children with meals, rest time, hygiene and daily routines.
Build warm and respectful relationships with children.
Observe and respond to children's individual needs.
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming setting.




Communicate effectively with parents and the school team regarding children's day care experience.
Follow all school policies and child safeguarding practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage children calmly and positively.
Ability to plan and conduct engaging constructive activities.
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
Prior experience in an early years/day care setting will be an advantage.
