Job Title: Shift Incharge / Engineer - Mechanical (DRI Plant)
Department: Mechanical - DRI 650 Plant
Reporting To: Department HOD
Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant

Job Purpose
To ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the DRI-650 plant, minimizing breakdowns and supporting protected production.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain Rotary Kiln, Cooler, Conveyors, Crushers, Gearboxes, Pumps, Fans and Hydraulic systems.




Coordinate shutdown planning and execution.
Reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
Monitor spare parts and maintenance records.
Coordinate with Operations and Electrical departments.
Ensure safety, SOP and statutory compliance.
Lead technicians, fitters and contract manpower.
