Role Description
The Freelancer – PeopleSoft Technical Developer will work on a contract basis to design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications and integrations in a remote setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating technical designs, developing and testing customizations, and troubleshooting application issues. The role involves building and maintaining interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring performance and reliability.
The developer will collaborate with functional consultants and other technical team members, provide technical documentation, and support deployment and post-implementation activities.
Qualifications
- Robust Software Development and Programming skills relevant to PeopleSoft technical work
- Experience with system Integration and working with APIs or middleware
- Practical knowledge of Databases, including SQL and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and front-end presentation within PeopleSoft or web components
- Hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Developer (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Integration Broker)
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, produce clear documentation, and follow best practices in code quality and testing
- Comfort working independently in a remote, contract environment and managing deadlines across multiple project
