Roles and Responsibilities

Area Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager
- Manage area sales operations to achieve targets, including product promotion, customer engagement, and market development.
- Manage the assigned territory and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop current business opportunities by identifying and approaching new customers, dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners to drive repeat business and long-term growth.
- Conduct regular market and customer visits to understand requirements, generate leads, close sales, and expand market coverage.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase market share, product penetration, revenue, and profitability in the assigned area.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, customer preferences, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure proper product availability, visibility, promotion, and distribution across the assigned territory.
- Follow up on leads,



enquiries, quotations, orders, payments, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Analyze sales performance and territory data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions for better results.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, forecasts, and territory performance reports for management.
- Support territory expansion and, where applicable, guide and coordinate with field sales team members to achieve area-level targets.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in area sales or related field (machinery sales, equipment sales).
- Strong understanding of general trade, machine tools, machining processes, and regional sales principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective distributor handling and relationship-building.
