Role & responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain all electrical installations within the warehouse, yard, office, and utility areas.
- Ensure proper functioning of warehouse lighting, high mast lights, Yard lights, and emergency lights.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and rectify faults with minimum downtime.
- Maintain electrical panels, breakers, switches, cables, and distribution boards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards.
- Manage reefer container plug-in and plug-out activities as per operational requirements.
- Monitor power supply to reefer containers and report abnormalities immediately.
- Maintain reefer connection logs and operational records.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure uninterrupted power supply to reefer cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse structures, roofing, walls, flooring, shutters, dock areas, and drainage systems.
- Identify and report warehouse leakages, seepage, water accumulation, and structural damages.




- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work to ensure facility upkeep.
- Monitor condition of dock levelers, rolling shutters, loading bays, and warehouse equipment.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and equipment maintenance vendors.
- Raise maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work.
- Follow up with vendors for quotations, repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and service reports.
- Verify completion of work before processing bills and approvals
- Monitor diesel stock levels and consumption records.
- Ensure proper record keeping of electrical, fire safety, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate plumbing, carpentry, painting, and civil repair works.
- Support installation and shifting of equipment, CCTV systems, networking points, and operational infrastructure.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
