Maintenance & Operations

· Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment such as reactors, dryers, centrifuges, pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, scrubbers, boilers, and utility systems.

· Monitor mechanical systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.

· Carry out root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.

2. Equipment Handling

· Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of current mechanical equipment in the plant.

· Inspect and maintain utilities such as chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and water systems.

3. Documentation & Compliance

· Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, calibration records, and spare parts inventory.

· Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

· Prepare and update SOPs related to mechanical operations.

4. Safety & Quality

· Ensure safe working practices during all maintenance activities.





· Support plant safety audits, equipment inspections, and risk assessments.

· Coordinate with production and quality teams for mechanical-related issues impacting product quality.

5. Troubleshooting

· Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective actions promptly.

· Reduce downtime by effective troubleshooting of pumps, gearboxes, agitators, and rotating equipment.

6. Continuous Improvement

· Recommend improvements for enhancing machine efficiency, reliability, and energy optimization.

· Support plant expansion, modification, and revamping projects.
