The candidate will support day-to-day production activities in sheet metal, press shop, and fabrication processes, ensuring smooth production, quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.Key Responsibilities
Support daily production activities in sheet metal, press shop, and fabrication operations.
Monitor production processes and ensure production targets are achieved.
Assist in setting up and operating press machines, fabrication equipment, and sheet metal machinery.
Understand and follow process sheets, work instructions, drawings, and SOPs.
Monitor machine parameters and identify abnormalities during production.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Production teams to resolve shop-floor issues.
Assist in line balancing,



manpower planning, and production scheduling.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
Support activities related to 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Identify production bottlenecks, rejection, rework, and downtime and support corrective actions.
Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and other production documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company manufacturing standards.
Follow all safety procedures and ensure protected working practices on the shop floor.
Support implementation of Poka-Yoke, process improvement, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Learn and understand automotive manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
