Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with CNC/VMC manufacturing requirements.
Manage sourcing and purchasing of machine components, fabricated parts, castings, forgings, electrical/electronic items, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, drives, tooling, and consumables.
Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts, and commercial conditions.
Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing, alternate vendors, value engineering, and volume negotiations.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production schedules and inventory requirements.
Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Stores, Finance, and Design teams.




Review purchase requisitions, RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery of critical components.
Develop alternate sources for critical and long-lead-time components.
Conduct supplier audits and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels, procurement lead times, and material shortages.
Resolve supplier-related quality, delivery, pricing, and commercial issues.
Maintain procurement MIS, supplier performance reports, cost analysis, and savings reports.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and commercial procedures.
