Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cook specializing in authentic Meghalaya cuisine to join our restaurant in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic traditional dishes from Meghalaya and the North-East.
Maintain the original taste, flavour, and cooking techniques of ethnic cuisine.
Plan and prepare daily meals as per the restaurant menu.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and utilization of food ingredients.
Maintain consistency in taste and quality.
Work efficiently in a restaurant kitchen environment.

Requirements
Prior experience as a Cook, preferably with expertise in Meghalaya cuisine.




Robust knowledge of traditional Meghalaya dishes, ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
Ability to prepare both traditional and popular ethnic dishes.
Good kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
Candidates from Meghalaya or with authentic knowledge of Meghalaya cuisine will be preferred.
