Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm
Experience: Fresher or 2–3 years
Preference: Experience in hospital/retail pharmacy setup
Solid knowledge of drug dispensing, storage & inventory management
Understanding of hospital pharmacy protocols (prescription verification, drug interactions, scheduled drugs)
Familiarity with pharmacy billing/software systems
Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 hospital setting
Attention to detail & accuracy in dispensing
Good coordination with doctors, nursing & billing staff
Willingness for shift duty/rotational shifts
Documentation & compliance discipline (drug license norms, NABH audits)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately as per physician prescriptions
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions & contraindications
Maintain proper storage of medicines (temperature-sensitive, narcotics, scheduled drugs)
Manage stock inventory,
expiry tracking & timely indenting
Coordinate with wards/ICU/OT for emergency medicine supply
Maintain records as per Drugs & Cosmetics Act and hospital pharmacy protocols
Counsel patients/attendants on medication usage when required
Ensure billing accuracy and coordinate with insurance/TPA desk if applicable
Support NABH/regulatory audits with proper documentation
Respond promptly to emergency medicine requirements from critical care areas
Salary:
Reasonable Salary based on Experience and Qualification. Purely negotiable.
