We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Radiology Typist to prepare and type radiology reports from dictated notes/voice recordings. The candidate should have good typing speed, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to accurately handle medical terminology and confidential patient information.
Key Responsibilities
Type and format radiology reports accurately from dictated reports.
Prepare reports for X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and other imaging studies.
Ensure correct spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and report formatting.
Review reports for typographical and transcription errors before submission.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
Coordinate with radiologists and the radiology department for report corrections or clarifications.
Complete assigned reports within required turnaround times.
Maintain proper records and follow hospital/clinic documentation procedures.
Previous experience in medical transcription or radiology typing is preferred.
Valuable knowledge of medical and radiology terminology.
Good English grammar, spelling, and listening skills.
Minimum typing speed of approximately 35–40 WPM with positive accuracy.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Word or hospital/EMR software.
Robust attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Experience
0–2 years: Freshers with good typing and English skills may be considered.
2+ years: Experience in radiology/medical transcription preferred.
