Lathe Operator – Intern / Trainee (With Full-Time Potential)Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lathe Operator Intern to join our manufacturing team. - Machine Operation: Assist in setting up and operating manual and/or CNC lathe machines to perform turning, boring, facing, and threading operations.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and work orders to understand part specifications.
- Quality Control: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometres, calipers, gauges)



to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet strict tolerance levels.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning equipment, managing coolant levels, and reporting malfunctions.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow workshop safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping a clean workspace.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Technical diploma, ITI certification, or trade school degree in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Freshers welcome).
- Skills: Basic understanding of metalworking, cutting tools, and mechanical principles.
- Mathematical Ability: Strong basic math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing shop environment.
- Mindset: A robust willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively within a team.
