About the Role

Pratham Chemical Company is seeking a Sales Manager with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in specialty or agrochemical formulator industries.

This is an on-site role in Chembur, Mumbai, requiring the candidate to be willing to travel locally for client visits within Mumbai and for occasional outstation trips. The role requires a 6-day work week, of which 5 days are on-site and 1 day may be remote.

The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients, and manage key accounts.
- Collaborate with procurement, technical, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to expand the business.
- Build long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Conduct local client visits in Mumbai and outstation trips as required.




- Conduct trials with customers as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in sales/business development, preferably in chemicals or industrial sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of specialty and agro-based chemicals and their industrial applications is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software for making monthly sales reports & forecasts
- Willingness to work in office in Chembur, Mumbai, travel locally, and undertake outstation trips as required.
