Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement of frozen food products, packaging materials, and other operational requirements while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchase activities for frozen food products and related materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, quality, MOQ, and delivery schedules.
- Plan purchases based on sales, inventory, production, and demand requirements.
- Monitor stock availability and avoid both stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
- Ensure proper documentation for purchase orders, invoices, GRNs, and payments.
- Monitor product quality, shelf life, expiry, and storage requirements.
- Develop alternative vendors to reduce supply-chain risks.
- Track purchase prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Finance,



Production, and Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and procurement-related KPIs.
- Ensure procurement follows company policies and approval processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Frozen Food, FMCG, Food Processing, Dairy, Meat, Seafood, or similar industries.
- Strong experience in frozen food sourcing and vendor management preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of cold-chain requirements, shelf life, expiry, MOQ, and FEFO.
- Should have strong supplier networks and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling multiple vendors and locations will be an advantage.
- Good analytical skills with strong Excel/MIS knowledge.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits and market sourcing when required
