Key Responsibilities
- Manage filing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills on ICEGATE, including e-Sanchit document uploads
- Ensure accurate ITC-HS classification and duty calculation for all consignments
- Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) and customs authorities for clearance and examination
- Handle assessment, first/second check appraisal, and duty payment processes
- Resolve queries, discrepancies, and show-cause notices raised by customs
- Ensure compliance with EXIM Policy, FTP provisions, and relevant DGFT/customs notifications
- Coordinate with the Legal Manager on litigation or CESTAT matters when required
- Track clearance turnaround time (TAT) and minimize demurrage/detention costs
- Maintain documentation records for audit and compliance purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; Diploma in Customs/Import-Export preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in customs clearance operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong working knowledge of Customs Act, ITC-HS classification, ICEGATE, and e-Sanchit
- Experience handling assessments, appraisals,
and customs queries independently
- Familiarity with CHALR 2018 provisions is an advantage

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
