Job Description

The Senior Transport Executive will oversee and manage day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel. This role requires robust coordination skills, compliance with regulatory standards, and the ability to optimize routes and resources for efficiency.
Transport Planning & Coordination:
Plan and schedule transportation activities for inbound and outbound shipments.
Optimize routes and vehicle utilization to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
Fleet Management:
Monitor and maintain company vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Coordinate with vendors for vehicle leasing, repairs, and insurance renewals.
Vendor & Driver Management:




Liaise with transport vendors and negotiate contracts for cost efficiency.
Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to company policies, and manage performance.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and expenses.
Cost Control & Reporting:
Track transportation costs and prepare periodic reports for management review.
Identify areas for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
Safety & Risk Management:
Implement safety protocols for drivers and vehicles.
Handle emergency situations and ensure quick resolution of transport-related issues.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Robust knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.

Excellent planning, coordination, and negotiation skills.
