Job Description

As a U.S. Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely federal and state income tax returns for individuals, estates, and exempt organizations. This role requires a solid understanding of U.S. tax regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to follow client-specific instructions. You will work closely with reviewers and team leads to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency throughout the tax preparation process.

About the Role:

For Individual / Trust Tax Returns (1040 / 1041 Returns)
Prepare accurate and timely federal, state, and city tax returns in accordance with client-specific instructions and deadlines.




Make corrections and adjustments to tax returns based on reviewer feedback.
Assist in the development and preparation of in-house training materials.
Support team members by resolving tax-related queries and providing guidance as needed.
Participate in induction programs and attend tax update training sessions as required.
Perform document verification in SPbinder, when applicable.
Effectively communicate and present information and respond to queries from managers and clients in a transparent and qualified manner.

About You:

For Individual / Trust Tax Returns (1040 / 1041 Returns)
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
Familiarity with SPBinder is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of key tax concepts, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of both U.S. and Indian taxation systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
