Role Purpose

Pro-Tec Geosystems (SG) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on Senior IoT Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain the company’s real-time IoT monitoring portal and dashboard platform.

The candidate will work closely with the embedded/IoT hardware team to build software systems for receiving, processing, storing, calculating, visualizing, alerting, and reporting data from IoT gateways, 4G routers, field monitoring devices, environmental monitoring systems, industrial sensors, and future Pro-Tec IoT products.

The role requires solid experience in backend development, IoT communication, databases, real-time dashboards, formula-based calculations, alerts, reports, map view,



device management, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Pro-Tec’s real-time IoT monitoring portal, backend services, APIs, dashboards, databases, and reporting modules.
Build device-to-cloud communication using MQTT/MQTTS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets/WSS, and other communication methods.
Develop services to receive, decode, validate, process, store, and display real-time and historical data from IoT gateways and monitoring devices.
Create payload decoders and protocol parsers for JSON, Hex, binary, and proprietary device data formats.
