We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager who can bring structure, discipline and financial control to the organization and work closely with the MD/Management.
Job Description
This is not merely an accounting or bookkeeping role.
We are looking for a Finance Manager who can understand the complete financial position of the business, control cash flow, improve fund utilization, manage working capital, monitor debt and bank facilities,
control costs, improve financial planning and provide management with explicit information for decision-making.
The candidate should be capable of identifying where money is being spent, where cash is getting blocked, why cash-flow gaps occur and what corrective actions are required.
The Finance Manager will be expected to take ownership of the company's financial planning and controls and work closely with management and different departments to improve financial discipline and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Take ownership of the company's day-to-day cash-flow planning and monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor expected collections, payments, expenses and available cash.
- Plan fund requirements in advance and identify potential cash shortages before they occur.
- Ensure funds are allocated appropriately
