Job Title: Lab Technician – Home Collection & Laboratory Operations
Job Description:We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lab Technician to manage home sample collection and laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for morning home visits for sample collection, evening sample processing, reporting, documentation, and coordination with insurance/TPA health check-up requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits in the morning for blood and other sample collections.
- Handle sample collection, labelling, storage, and transportation as per protocols.
- Process samples in the evening and assist with laboratory operations.
- Prepare accurate reports and ensure timely delivery to patients.
- Coordinate insurance health check-up visits and maintain required documentation.
- Prepare reports, scan documents, and email reports to concerned TPA/insurance coordinators.
- Manage home collection services for non-insurance clients.
- Coordinate with patients regarding appointments and sample collection.
- Promote laboratory services and develop contacts in nearby areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, quality standards, and patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- DMLT / BMLT qualification preferred.
- Experience in pathology lab and home sample collection preferred.
- Positive communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Ability to manage field visits independently.
- Basic computer knowledge (email, documentation, reporting) required.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
