Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Manager to manage the company’s purchasing activities, vendor relationships, material procurement, and cost control. The candidate should have good communication and negotiation skills and must be proficient in English and Hindi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete purchase and procurement process.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations from different suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, Quality, and other departments.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of required materials.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and vendor details.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Prepare regular purchase and procurement reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any relevant field.
- Previous experience in Purchase/Procurement is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple purchase activities.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory.
Preferred Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial company.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
