The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing fabrication and assembly processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. The role requires close coordination with design, quality, and store teams to meet project deadlines and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop and implement daily/weekly production schedules aligned with project requirements.
- Fabrication Supervision: Oversee welding, cutting, bending, machining, and assembly operations for products like scaffolding, ladders, and weapon parts.
- Process Optimization: Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, and project-specific standards; coordinate inspections with QA teams.
- Material Coordination:
Work with store and purchase departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Team Management: Supervise shop-floor staff, provide technical guidance, and enforce safety protocols.
- Reporting: Maintain production logs, prepare MIS reports, and highlight bottlenecks to management.
- Oversee shop-floor operations, supervise workers and operators to maximize productivity, and coordinate with HR and Admin teams regarding shift schedules. The role ensures smooth fabrication processes and timely delivery of products for infrastructure and defense projects.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹43,000.00 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
