Job Title: Purchase Executive

Reports To: Head of Purchase
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and source raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products from suppliers, ensuring the best prices and quality standards are met.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with current and existing suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and raise purchase orders in a timely manner to ensure no disruption in production. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands.
- Purchase Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring that the right quantities and quality are ordered. Follow up on orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that purchased materials comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct supplier audits and quality checks when required.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, new suppliers,
and industry standards to ensure the procurement of the latest and most cost-effective materials.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, supplier agreements, and inventory levels. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to the management team.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality and reliability. Ensure purchases are made within the allocated budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the cosmeceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supplier sourcing, procurement practices, and inventory management.
