Job Description: Middle School- Computer Teacher

A Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching students computer literacy, programming, digital skills, and the safe and effective use of technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver computer science and information technology lessons.
- Teach basic computer operations, including operating systems, file management, and internet usage.
- Instruct students in software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases.
- Teach programming languages and coding concepts appropriate to the students' grade level.
- Explain topics such as computer hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and digital citizenship.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, practical exercises, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and encourage active participation in the classroom.




- Manage and maintain the computer laboratory, ensuring equipment is used safely and responsibly.
- Stay current with developments in educational technology and integrate relevant tools into teaching.
- Support extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, robotics, or IT competitions.
- Communicate with parents and school staff regarding students' academic progress.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (such as B.Ed., where required by the school or education authority).
- Robust knowledge of computer applications, programming, and networking.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
