We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accounts Executive with 2–5 years of experience, The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling vendor and customer accounts, and supporting statutory compliance.
Knowledge of GST filing and compliance will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, site teams, and internal departments regarding accounts-related matters.
- Support the preparation and filing of GST returns and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of required financial and statutory documents.
- Assist the senior management / accounts team with accounting-related reports and analysis.
- Perform other accounting and finance activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts.
- Experience in the construction / civil / infrastructure industry will be preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- GST return filing experience will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
