Role Overview

We are looking for a senior legal qualified to lead complex legal, regulatory, litigation and commercial matters. The role will work closely with senior management, external counsel, regulatory authorities and business teams, providing strategic and practical legal advice.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee high-value litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters.
- Manage legal matters before courts, regulatory, judicial and administrative forums.
- Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessments to senior management and the Board.
- Lead legal due diligence for M&A;, JVs, business partnerships, property transactions and strategic projects.
- Draft, review and negotiate MDO, mining, transportation, port, service, power purchase and commercial agreements.
- Advise on mining leases,



MMDR Act, Mineral Concession Rules, royalty, DMF, NMET and state mining regulations.
- Handle legal matters relating to land acquisition, forest and environmental clearances and mine development.
- Liaise with Mining, Forest, Environment, Revenue and other Government authorities.
- Lead legal and regulatory compliance initiatives and monitor regulatory developments.
- Lead, mentor and supervise the legal team and ensure timely closure of legal matters.
