Key Responsibilities:
Jewellery / Gemstone Assortment
Sort and assort jewellery or gemstones based on size, weight, quality, design, and specifications.
Classify finished or semi-finished jewellery according to approved standards.
Ensure accurate grouping for production, stock, or dispatch purposes.
Quality Checking & Evaluation
Check jewellery pieces for workmanship, finish, stone setting, and overall quality.
Identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies and report to the supervisor.
Ensure only approved quality pieces move forward in the process.
Coordination with Production & Inventory
Coordinate with production, quality, and inventory teams for smooth workflow.
Assist in matching assorted items with job cards, orders, or client requirements.
Support inventory tagging and labeling after assortment.
Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate records of assorted items, quantities, and classifications.
Update assortment details in registers or inventory systems.
Support audits and stock verification activities when required.
Handling & Care
Handle jewellery and gemstones with care to avoid damage or loss.
Follow SOPs and security protocols for high-value items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the assortment workstation.
