Effective management of Material Movements
Ensuring timely material movement from all respective areas like - Inward, Outward, PDI, DPG, and Steam & Heat treatment.
Ensure timely receipt of material from vendor end.
Ensure proper, correct material shipment & receipt to & from GKN.
Ensure timely disposal of scrap & salvage of non-moving / NC parts from all in-house sorting cell.
Maintain Proper Documentation & Ensure Harmonious Relationships with Team Members
Proper documentation & record keeping of all 57f4 excise challan as per the Excise laws.
Ensure timely completion of RRs, Approvals & Transport debit notes
Ensure valuable housekeeping & 5S thorough out the dept. & also motivate the team members for such positive initiatives.
Ensure that all Sub contracting, GP 12, operations to be carried out as per the defind procedure.
Effective planning & management of all in house sorting cells in the view of timely completion of monthly production schedule.
Effective communication with internal customer & active participation in daily urgencies to meet the requirement.
Effective communication to the sub-contractor for their NC material & necessary support to them also in salvaging the same.
Ensure all valuable initiatives; best practices shall be implemented at the shop floor with the help of superior.
Develop & motivate the team members as well as sub-contractors also for cost reduction initiatives & small improvements.
Required Skills and Education
Diploma in any engineering field ( Mechanical / production is preferably)
Experience of 6- 8 years in automotive industry & must have experience in machining processes.
Knowledge of IATF 16949/ OHSAS & ISO 14001 are mandatory.
