Job Summary:
Naoero Medical Centre (NMC) is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing to lead and strengthen nursing services across our national healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all nursing services.
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care.
Lead nursing workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks.
Promote quality improvement, patient safety, accreditation, and compliance initiatives.
Mentor, coach, and develop nursing managers and clinical leaders.
Oversee nursing education, training, competency assessments, and professional development programs.
Collaborate with medical, allied health, and executive leadership teams to achieve organisational goals.




Monitor nursing performance indicators and drive continuous service improvement.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing (Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred).
Current nursing registration in home country.
Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership role.
Solid experience in hospital operations, clinical governance, quality management, and workforce leadership.
Experience managing multicultural healthcare teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
