Medical Billing Executive - Refund Process
Process: US Healthcare - RCM (Revenue Cycle Management)
Experience: Fresher / Experienced
Shift: Night Shift (US Shift)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Review credit balances in patient accounts and identify refund prospects.
Process patient and insurance refunds based on overpayments.
Verify refund eligibility as per client policies and compliance guidelines.
Work on refund requests received from insurance companies and patients.
Perform account research to validate overpayments.
Coordinate with AR, Payment Posting, and Billing teams for resolution.
Prepare refund request forms and supporting documentation.
Update refund status in billing software.
Ensure HIPAA compliance while handling patient data.
Meet productivity and quality targets.
Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
