The Compliance HR Specialist manages legal, statutory, and contractual compliance for construction and engineering personnel. This role minimizes legal risks, coordinates with government bodies, and ensures sub-contractors follow labour regulations at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Labor Compliance
Manage statutory compliance: Oversee PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), and minimum wage laws.
Maintain digital registers: Track employment registers, muster rolls, and wage sheets required by local laws.
Audit sub-contractors: Inspect vendor payroll and compliance documents before releasing their monthly payments.
Site & Infrastructure Operations
Enforce safety integration: Collaborate with Safety (HSE) teams to ensure mandatory safety inductions and medical check-ups.
Manage site camp facilities: Audit worker camps to meet legal standards for hygiene, drinking water, and sanitation.
Oversee working hours:
Monitor shift schedules, rest days, and overtime limits under the Factories or Shop Act.
Manage exit compliance: Ensure timely settlement of dues, gratuity, and full-and-final closures for departing staff.
Grievance & Liaison Management
Liaise with authorities: Represent the company during inspections by labor commissioners, railway officials, or highway authorities.
Resolve local disputes: Address worker grievances, union issues, and community relations near the construction corridor.
Manage accident compensation: Coordinate documentation and payouts under the Workmen Compensation Act for site injuries.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
