Job Overview
elearners is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Media Trainer who can handle both content production and student training.
The selected candidate will be responsible for editing engaging social media content, shooting educational videos for our online learning segment, and taking practical classes for students enrolled in our Media Mastery Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality Instagram Reels, promotional videos, educational videos, and social media content
- Shoot and edit online video classes for elearners courses
- Plan camera angles, lighting, audio, framing, and basic studio setup for video shoots
- Conduct practical classes for Media Mastery students
- Train students in:
- Video Editing
- Reels Editing
- Social Media Content Creation
- Video Shooting Techniques
- Camera Basics
- Lighting & Audio Basics
- Content Planning
- Basic Post-production Workflow
- Work closely with the Social Media and Marketing Team to create engaging content
- Convert raw footage into attractive, fast-paced, platform-friendly videos
- Maintain proper organisation and backup of video files and project assets
- Stay updated with current Reel trends, editing styles, transitions, and social media content formats
Software Skills Preferred
Candidates should have working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Adobe Photoshop / Canva
- Basic knowledge of camera and audio equipment
Candidate Profile
- Strong sense of creativity, storytelling, and visual presentation
- Good practical knowledge of video editing and content creation
- Comfortable speaking and teaching in front of students
- Good Malayalam communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner
- Understanding of Instagram Reels and current social media trends
- Ability to handle video
