Key Responsibilities: Accounting:
Review accounting entries and books of accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting policies and principles.
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy, completeness and timely closure.
Review and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual account closure for management reporting. TDS & Tax Compliance:
Review TDS deductions in accordance with applicable rules and ensure timely TDS payments.
Ensure timely and accurate TDS return filings and related compliance.
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on Income Tax matters. GST & RCM:
Review Input GST and Output GST and ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation.
Ensure timely GST payments and return filings.
Review and ensure proper compliance with Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) under GST.
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants on GST matters.
Trade P&L;:
Prepare and review commodity-wise monthly Trade P&L; and profitability reports.
Analyze trade profitability and highlight relevant variances/observations to management. Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance:
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants for GST, Income Tax and other finance-related matters.
Ensure timely closure of all statutory returns, filings and other compliances.
Perform any other finance/accounting tasks as may be delegated by management.
Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
Solid practical knowledge of accounting principles, Tally and financial reporting.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Strong understanding of TDS, GST, GST RCM, payments and statutory return filings.
Excellent English communication skills — written and oral — are mandatory.
