Role & responsibilities
- Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
- Own end-to-end recruitment across restaurants, cafs, central kitchen, corporate and leadership roles.
- Establish HR policies, processes and systems as the company scales.
- Drive employee engagement, retention and workplace culture.
- Coordinate and manage PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of required records and registers.
- Implement performance appraisal and performance management systems.
- Identify training and development needs across teams and coordinate relevant programs.
- Work closely with operations managers to address employee concerns and improve team productivity.
- Track HR metrics including attrition, hiring timelines, absenteeism and employee performance.
- Manage employee joining, exit, full & final settlement, leave,
attendance and salary records.
- Coordinate with finance/payroll consultants, auditors and statutory authorities whenever required.
- Ensure proper documentation of employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters and employee files.
- Maintain accurate employee master data and HRMIS records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and employment regulations across all locations.
- Track payroll-related queries and resolve employee salary, deductions and statutory benefit issues.
- Set up robust HR processes that can scale as Lafayette expands into multiple cities.
Preferred candidate profile
Min 3 years of HR experience, preferably in F&B;, hospitality, retail, QSR or another high-growth consumer business
Language to be known : Tamil, Hindi, English Kannada
