About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot database systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with multiple database technologies, high availability, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Perform regular database backup, restoration, and recovery activities.
- Monitor database performance and identify potential issues.
- Perform query optimization and performance tuning.
- Configure and manage database clustering, replication, and high-availability setups.
- Tune database and server-level parameters for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot database, server, and OS-related issues.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.




- Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of backup, restoration, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with clustering, replication, and high availability.
- Good understanding of database security, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, and Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate
- 4+ years of relevant DBA experience.
- Experience managing production databases and resolving critical database issues.
- Ability to work independently and handle database performance, availability, and recovery requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
