The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating solar business by understanding customer requirements, conducting technical discussions and site assessments, preparing suitable solar solutions, and converting leads into successful orders. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales skills, customer relationship management, and commercial understanding.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Sales
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and other solar segments.
- Generate leads through direct visits, references, dealer networks, enquiries, digital platforms, and market activities.
- Conduct customer meetings and understand their electricity consumption, requirements, budget, and expectations.
- Present suitable solar solutions and explain the technical and financial benefits of solar energy.
- Follow up regularly with prospective customers and convert qualified leads into orders.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.

2. Technical Consultation
- Understand customer electricity bills,



load requirements, sanctioned load, and consumption patterns.
- Recommend appropriate solar system capacity and configuration based on customer requirements.
- Explain solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, batteries, protection systems, and other components to customers.
- Provide technical clarification regarding system performance, generation, savings, warranty, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the technical/project team to ensure the proposed solution is technically feasible.

3. Site Survey & Assessment
- Coordinate and/or conduct site surveys for potential solar projects.
- Assess rooftop/ground conditions, available installation area, shading, orientation, structural conditions, electrical requirements, and accessibility.
- Collect required technical information, photographs, electricity bills, and measurements from the site.
