Roles and Responsibilities :
- Code medical records accurately using IPDRG coding system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient charts, radiology reports, and other relevant documents to identify diagnoses and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies in coding and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
Job Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience as an IPDRG Coder or equivalent role.
- Solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes and their applications.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic Systems or similar platforms.
