- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic interviews
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group counseling/therapy sessions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment and intervention plans
- Diagnose and manage psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Use evidence -based therapeutic approaches (CBT, REBT, DBT, etc.)
- Support clients with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records and documentation
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide crisis intervention and psychological support when required
- Offer psychoeducation to clients and caregivers
- Ensure ethical, legal, and skilled standards of psychological practice
- Participate in case discussions, supervision, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Contribute to mental health awareness programs and workshops
- Stay updated with current research and best practices in psychology
Requirements
Qualification
BSc/MSc Psychology
- Valid license/registration with the relevant professional or statutory body (where applicable)
- Supervised clinical training / internship as per regulatory guidelines
- Proven experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy
- Proficiency in evidence -based therapeutic approaches (CBT, REBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc.)
- Ability to conduct psychological testing and interpret assessment results
- Strong counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High standards of ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Skills in case formulation, treatment planning, and progress evaluation
- Experience in handling adults, adolescents, and/or children (as per role requirement)
- Good documentation, reporting, and record -keeping skills
- Emotional maturity, empathy, and strong listening skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital record systems
- Commitment to continuous professional development and supervision
