A Distribution Manager oversees the protected, fast, and low-cost storage, transport, and delivery of goods. They run warehouses, manage inventory, lead warehouse and driver teams, and use technology to track shipments and fulfill customer orders on time.

Main Duties
- Manage Inventory: Track stock levels, prevent shortages or overstock, and check product quality.
- Run Warehouse Operations: Organize storage space, optimize picking and packing, and oversee daily shipping schedules.
- Lead Staff: Supervise warehouse workers, forklift drivers, and delivery teams. Assign daily tasks and track performance.
- Control Costs: Find ways to lower labor, packing, and transport expenses without losing service quality.
- Use Technology: Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Handle Safety Rules:



Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure all loading and driving actions follow government rules.
- Fix Problems: Solve delivery delays, damaged goods, or system errors quickly.

Required Skills
- Leadership: Ability to lead, train, and guide a large warehouse team.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to fix supply chain delays or transport issues.
- Data Analysis: Skill in reviewing inventory numbers, shipping times, and cost reports.
- Communication: Clear talk with suppliers, drivers, and other business departments.
- Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory software and modern shipping tools.
