Position: Training Manager – Human Resources
Department: Human Resources
Industry: Hospitality / Hotel Operations
Reports To: HR Manager / General Manager
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Training & Development
- Plan, organize, and conduct training programs for employees across all hotel departments.
- Identify training needs based on departmental requirements, performance gaps, guest feedback, and operational standards.
- Develop and implement annual and monthly training calendars.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for current employees.
- Ensure employees receive proper training on hotel policies, SOPs, service standards, and workplace procedures.
- Departmental Training
- Coordinate with HODs to identify department-specific training requirements.
- Conduct or facilitate training related to guest service, communication, grooming, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
- Arrange cross-training programs to enhance employee versatility and operational knowledge.
- Ensure departmental training is completed within the scheduled timelines.
- Employee Development
- Identify employees with potential for career growth and recommend suitable development programs.
- Support succession planning and prepare employees for higher responsibilities.
- Develop individual training and development plans wherever required.
