Optimum utilisation of available resources to achieve planned activies of machine assembly by adherence of set processes.
Role and Responsibilities:
Core :
- Ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result.
- Eliminate the variability in the manufacturing by providing the SOPs, Work instructions & in process quality Checks.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout.
- Drive & implement the 6S. Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities.
- Carry out FMEAs, (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and implement improvements.
- Lead and/or support technicians and trainee engineers
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
- Be an effective team member, working with CFT to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
- Carries out the production process within the allotted resources and budget,
with minimal wastage and optimal manpower utilization
- Liaises with other internal customers and suppliers as required in order to ensure an integrated and effective manufacturing area
- Ensures daily production reports updates with good quality and minimal failures.
- Key Result Areas
- Execute Panel and M/c integration using approved P&ID; and EPlan Schematics
- Well versed with SAP PP module
- Prepare handover checklists for ITR and QA for function tests
- Deliver assembled M/c in time according to project timeline in co-ordination with Assembly and PPC.
- Support execution in equipment funciton tests with wired control panel (I/O test/ITR/M/c Settings and device parameterizations)
- Change request for electrical drawing/BOM correction/Layout through change control process.
- Highlight shortages/OLR to PPC and manage parts availability.
