Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush and Ahrefs to identify target keywords, and prepare keyword mapping for website pages.
- Perform on-page optimization tasks such as meta tag updates, header tags, URL structure, internal linking, image ALT optimization and content optimization for search intent.
- Carry out technical SEO audits covering indexing, crawlability, broken links, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemap, robots.txt, page speed, Core Web Vitals and mobile usability, and coordinate with developers on fixes.
- Build high-quality backlinks through white-hat strategies like guest posting, business listings, local citations, directory submissions and blog outreach.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profile, maintain NAP consistency and improve local search visibility.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console, and provide weekly and monthly reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, clicks, impressions, CTR, leads and conversions,



and act on any drops.
- Work on Semantic SEO, Topical Authority, Featured Snippets, AEO and GEO for AI-driven search visibility.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms and best practices in SEO.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO or a related field (digital marketing).
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), On-page Optimization, Off-page Optimization, Technical SEO and Local SEO techniques.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest and Screaming Frog.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress/CMS platforms, HTML and website structure.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple SEO projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT or a related field; SEO certifications are an advantage.
