Job Title: Senior Accountant

Experience: 4 to 5 years

Salary: ₹3,25,000 - ₹3,50,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to handle our end-to-end accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. You will be entirely responsible for maintaining error-free books, managing direct and indirect tax filings, and ensuring compliance with government timelines without daily supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance: Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns. Perform monthly reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase registers to ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.

TDS Compliance: Handle accurate calculation, deduction, and timely deposit of TDS. File quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q) and generate Form 16/16A.

Income Tax & RoC: Prepare necessary data and documentation for annual income tax returns and tax audits. Manage basic Registrar of Companies (RoC) filings and annual returns on the MCA portal.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:



Maintain daily books of accounts in Tally. Manage accounts payable (vendor aging) and accounts receivable (customer dues). Conduct monthly bank reconciliation (BRS) and ledger scrutiny.

Finalization: Prepare financial statements and close accounts up to Balance Sheet stage for final auditor review.

Requirements & Skills:

Experience: 4 to 5 years of core experience handling accounting and taxation (candidates with CA firm experience preferred).

Technical Skills: Complete hands-on familiarity with GST, Income Tax, Traces, and MCA portals.

Education: B.Com Graduate / M.Com / Inter-CA.

Traits: Sharp attention to detail, strict compliance with statutory deadlines, and ability to work independently.
