Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, energetic, and guest-focused Café Captain to lead the floor service team at our Tea Experiences Room. The Captain will be responsible for smooth day-to-day service, team coordination, guest satisfaction, and maintaining premium hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the Steward and service team during each shift.
- Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring a warm and personalized experience.
- Ensure smooth and timely service of food, beverages, and tea experiences.
- Take guest orders accurately and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar.
- Maintain robust knowledge of the café menu, tea varieties, and signature tea experiences.
- Recommend teas, beverages, and food items based on guest preferences.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling while maintaining a genuine guest-service approach.
- Monitor table service,



presentation, cleanliness, and overall floor standards.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate between the kitchen, bar, store, and service team for smooth operations.
- Brief the team before shifts regarding reservations, special guests, events, and daily targets.
- Ensure proper grooming, uniform, hygiene, and discipline of the service team.
- Monitor availability of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service requirements.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
- Report operational issues, guest feedback, and service concerns to the Café Manager.
- Ensure company SOPs and hospitality standards are consistently followed.

Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–4 years in a café, restaurant, hotel, fine dining, or premium hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
