We are hiring an experienced Performance Ad Video Editor who understands how to create videos that generate clicks, leads and sales—not just visually attractive content.
The editor will produce and re-edit conversion-focused advertising creatives for US audiences across Meta, Instagram Reels, Google, YouTube and native advertising platforms.
This is a specialist position. Applicants must have direct experience editing paid social advertisements, UGC creatives, product advertisements and short-form performance videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-converting video ads from raw footage, UGC, product assets and AI-generated content
- Create solid hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
- Produce fast-paced 15–60 second advertisements
- Create separate layouts in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9 formats
- Add accurate burned-in captions, motion graphics, sound effects and suitable music
- Develop multiple hooks, openings and end-card variations for creative testing
- Recut existing footage into fresh advertising concepts
- Follow Meta, Google and native-advertising policies
- Keep important text and visuals inside platform-safe areas
- Review every frame for spelling, cropped text, incorrect products and policy risks
- Organize projects, source files and final exports clearly
- Work closely with media buyers and the creative team using campaign-performance feedback
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional video-editing experience
- Proven experience editing paid advertising creatives
- Strong understanding of direct-response advertising and audience retention
- Experience with UGC ads, product demonstrations, testimonials and native-style creatives
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent professional software
- Ability to create platform-specific compositions rather than simply cropping one video into different ratios
- Strong English comprehension and excellent attention to spelling
- Ability to meet deadline
