Primary Skill - Temporal, .net, C#
We are looking for a strong .NET Developer with hands-on experience in Temporal.io to design and develop reliable, scalable and fault-tolerant business workflows. The candidate will work on building distributed applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8+, ASP.NET Core and Temporal .NET SDK.
The role involves developing Temporal Workflows, Activities and Workers, integrating external APIs and microservices, implementing retries and error handling, and ensuring workflow execution remains durable and deterministic.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Temporal Workflows and Activities using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain Temporal Workers and task queues.
- Develop reliable, long-running and fault-tolerant business processes using Temporal.
- Implement workflow orchestration across multiple microservices and external systems.
- Configure timeouts, retries,
cancellation and failure handling for Activities.
- Work with Signals, Queries, Updates, Child Workflows and Timers.
- Ensure Temporal Workflows comply with deterministic execution requirements.
- Implement integrations with REST APIs, databases, messaging systems and third-party services.
- Develop scalable ASP.NET Core / .NET Core microservices.
- Implement dependency injection and configuration using the .NET ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures and perform workflow replay/debugging.
- Write unit and integration tests for Workflows and Activities.
- Implement logging, monitoring and distributed tracing using tools such as OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical design.
- Work with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring of Temporal Workers.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and production support.
