About the Role
Universal High School, Chembur is looking for a confident, empathetic and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to manage prospective parent enquiries and guide families through the complete school admission journey.
The candidate will be responsible for counselling parents, generating and converting admission leads, conducting school visits, coordinating the application process and ensuring an excellent parent experience from enquiry to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Lead Conversion
- Handle admission enquiries received through calls, emails, website enquiries, walk-ins and other channels.
- Respond promptly to prospective parents and understand their requirements.
- Counsel parents regarding the school's curriculum, pedagogy, facilities, activities and overall educational offering.
- Follow up systematically with prospective parents to convert enquiries into school visits, applications and admissions.
- Achieve agreed monthly and annual admission targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective admissions and ensure timely follow-ups.
3. Admission Conversion
- Manage the admission funnel from initial enquiry to enrolment.
- Work towards achieving monthly and annual admission targets.
- Develop effective lead-nurturing and follow-up strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure that all admission processes and timelines are followed accurately.
4. Documentation & Process Management
- Guide parents through application forms, document submission and other admission formalities.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of admission records.
- Coordinate with academic, accounts, administration and other departments for a smooth admission process.
- Maintain updated records of enquiries, applications, conversions and pending cases.
