The Team Member in Trade Finance Operations plays a vital role in managing the smooth issuance of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Acceptance, and Buyers Credit.
This position requires a knowledge of trade finance end to end processes.
Key responsibilities include handling trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate and timely updates on the company's trade finance position to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Operations Management: Execute financial transactions on time to prevent any delays.
Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless operations.
Trade Finance Process Governance & Risk Mitigation: Follow standardized processes for trade finance operations.
Identify potential risks and suggest preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Process Improvement & Automation: Identify and implement solutions for process efficiency.
Support automation and digital solutions to streamline trade finance processes.
Training & Development: Participate in training programs to stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
Seek opportunities for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
Educational Qualification: BBA / B.
OM/ MBA (Finance) / ICWA / Inter CA / CFA or equivalent in Financial Management.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Trade FInance operations Industry: Preferably from a Infrastructure / Manufacturing / Finance Industry with experience In Trade Finance operation.
