Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations, including documentation, shipment planning, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, buyers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, and port authorities.
- Handle import/export documentation, LC, bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other trade-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international trade laws, food safety standards, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Monitor port operations, shipment schedules, freight costs, and cargo movement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage international vendors and negotiate pricing, freight, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Identify and manage risks related to international trade, logistics, foreign exchange, documentation, and shipment delays.




- Maintain proper records and ensure timely completion of all import/export transactions.

Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Import & Export / International Trade, preferably in edible oils, liquid bulk, agriculture commodities, or FMCG.
- Knowledge: Solid knowledge of port operations, customs regulations, international trade documentation, shipping processes, and food safety requirements.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, coordination, risk management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience in handling liquid bulk shipments and agri-commodity imports/exports will be an added advantage.
